All of our breads are baked from scratch, daily, on the hearth, in the true artisan style. Our selections are perfect for the most intimate occasions to large, sophisticated gatherings by carry-out or delivery.
To enhance the taste of our freshly prepared items we make our own dressings, soups, pickles and condiments. Breakfast and Lunch is offered in a charming Savannah atmosphere in the 1950’s landmark Drayton Tower building on the corner of Liberty and Drayton Streets.
The Harris Baking Tradition
Harris' family is well known for the culinary delights they have offered Savannahians for nearly 50 years, owning and operating some of the most famous restaurants in the historic district. Sam's fare has been featured on the Food Networks "Food Finds" and has been written about in numerous publications, including "Southern Living," "Bon Appétit." and others.
Sam’s memory of his “babysitter” being the pastry chef at his family’s first restaurant, helped him to appreciate the hard work and dedication that went into making it the very best.
Today, it is Sam who is the teacher for his own son, Sam Jr. Sam and Theresa work side by side with their son to ensure that everything offered at Harris Baking Company is exactly as Savannah has come to expect.
